Refunds policy - T&C
1. RETURNS (Excluding Custom Orders)
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To request a refund, email us with your details order and email with 'Refund' or 'Return' to get started.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. It is your responsibility to arrange, track and pay for the shipping/courier costs of the items you want to return, see point 7 below for more details.
Non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Sale items
- Custom orders
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
2. REFUNDS (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
3. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

4. SALE ITEMS (if applicable)
Only regular/full priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. All transactions on sale items are final so please choose carefully.
5. EXCHANGES (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at mahiatu3dprints@gmail.com.
6. GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
7. SHIPPING
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
8. REPAIR, MODIFICATION AND REFURBISHMENT
These undertaken works are guaranteed for 14 days from the date of sale.
Please inspect your device upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or you have received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. We will endeavour to get back to you asap with a resolution. Once we have approved the return we will send you instructions on how to return the goods.
Please try to take photos where you can of the damage, if it is courier related, so then we can chase them up also.
Please make sure the item is unused, unaltered and is in the same condition and packaging as it was sent. Any alteration of physical, data or otherwise will void this warranty as it is impossible to ascertain the exact cause of damage.
Once we receive the item back, we will then assess the item and repair, replace or refund the item. If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover the cost of return shipping and cover all shipping costs incurred in replacing the item. We will advise you via email once we have received your goods.
Please choose carefully, as we are not responsible for if you change your mind. If you are after more information or samples prior to ordering, then please get in touch. If you do happen to change your mind after receiving your order, we are required a 30% restocking fee and we will not cover the cost of return shipping back to us and then shipping of the new item, that will be at your cost. Also, if you change your mind after ordering and the goods are still in the production stage there may be an extra charge for materials if the original order has been started up to 30% of the cost of the item.
We will abide by New Zealand consumer law for citizens and items purchased and shipped within New Zealand borders. Those orders taken overseas will not be covered.
9. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve commercial and copyrights design 3D modelling, revisions, alterations, remedies and products that are commissioned, unless rights are expressly given in writing.
